The 2020 Domaine de la Pinte Arbois Savagnin Ouillé is a biodynamic white wine from the Jura region of France. Crafted from 50-year-old Savagnin vines planted in blue marl soils, it undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is aged for 36 months in neutral oak barrels. The “Ouillé” method involves regularly topping up the barrels to prevent oxidation, preserving the wine’s freshness and preventing the development of the nutty, oxidative character typical of Vin Jaune.
